alliance Of Iraqi Minorities Meets USIP
In July 08, 2019 a meeting hold between the Alliances of Iraq Minorities Network (AIM), And the united states institute of peace (USIP) at AIM’s office in Erbil.
The meeting was attending by The Advisory Body and the Administrative Board, as well as the Executive Office and the Director of the AIM, In addition to the presence of Mr.Sarhang Hamasaeed
Director, Middle East Programs USIP’s officers, the meeting discussed the current political and social situation of minorities throughout Iraq and discussed the details of the local, regional and international developments that affecting the situation of minorities in Iraq. The role of the Alliance network in promoting and protecting the rights of minorities was also discussed, this role through its programs, projects, and meetings that are distributed in several Iraqi’s provinces.
At the same time, the USIP’S Director expressed the Center's vision to protect the rights of minorities and their commitment for serious efforts to develop their role in Iraqi society. He also expressed appreciation for the valuable partnership between the AIM and USIP as a main partner in Iraq
